Andy Johnson

Director & Independent Financial Planner

It’s important that you always check the credentials of any financial planners you are looking to work with. You can view mine below.

Professionally

I started my financial services career at the tender age of 19, working for Nationwide Building Society. At 21 I became a mortgage adviser and underwriter, and was one of the first advisers in the country to pass the Certificate in Mortgage Advice pilot run by the CII.

By 23 I had started a role as a Financial Consultant with Nationwide, and until 2013 I worked in various corporate banking firms as a financial adviser.

As my career has progressed over the years, it became clear that being anything other than independent didn’t make sense – so I left the corporate world behind me and became a self-employed IFA. Fast-forward several years, and I now use my 20+ years of financial experience to help my wonderful clients every day.

Personally

Being a father of two, family life always takes centre stage. In my downtime I enjoy motorsport, building gaming PCs, watching movies and reading.
